Federal Immigrant Investor
Program to facilitate the
immigration process for business
people and investors. Applicants
who qualify under this category
benefit from such features as:

Through the Federal Immigrant
Investor Program, Canada and its
participating provinces welcome
thousands of experienced
business people and managers
every year, granting them
Canadian Resident Visas and
encouraging further economic
development across Canada.
In order to qualify for the
Federal Immigrant Investor
Program, applicants must meet
the following minimum criteria:

Successfully
managed, controlled,
or directed a
qualifying business
for at least two
years within the
previous five years |

Accumulated a net
worth of at least
$800,000 CDN. |
|
|
The ability to
invest $400,000 CDN
in a fully
guaranteed,
zero-interest
Government term
note, for a period
of 5 years. |
|
|
The intent to settle
in a province or
territory other than
Quebec. |
In addition, applicants are
assessed on a point system.
Unlike other categories
requiring a higher cumulative
point score, Investor applicants
are only required to achieve a
total of 35 points in order to
qualify. Applicants are assessed
on the following factors:

Applicants are required to
submit the pertinent federal
application forms along with all
supporting documents to the
appropriate visa office for
processing. Upon a successful
interview with immigration
authorities, your application is
approved and a conditional
acceptance is granted. The
applicant is then required to
remit the following to the
nearest RCI office:

The funds required
under the RCI
Investment Agreement |
RCI will forward the
documentation along with the
investment to the Receiver
General of Canada who, upon
reception, will inform
Citizenship and Immigration of
Canada (CIC) to issue an
unconditional Canadian Resident
Visa to the applicant. A
five-year, interest-free
promissory note is issued to the
applicant, fully guaranteed by
the participating provinces.

As part of our services
provided, RCI facilitates
financing for the required
investment amount. Applicants
have the choice to deposit the
full investment or take
advantage of our guaranteed
financing plan. Should they
choose to deposit the full
investment of CDN $400,000, RCI
will transfer the funds on their
behalf and a government five
year note will be issued. At the
end of the term, the full amount
of the invested capital will be
reimbursed to the applicant.
Should applicants avail
themselves of the guaranteed
financing plan, they are
required to deposit a portion of
the required funds and RCI will
facilitate the financing for the
balance, to be then forwarded to
the Receiver General. At the end
of the term, there is no amount
returned to the applicant, and
the applicant’s deposit will be
used to cover any loan charges
on the financing.
